Abstract:With the expansion of modern construction projects and the increasing complexity of these projects, the construction of mass concrete has become an essential part of many large infrastructure projects. This paper takes the underground civil engineering project of the Shanghai East Hub Station area as an example to explore in depth the key construction techniques, quality control measures, and heat of hydration control strategies for mass concrete. The study results indicate that by optimizing the concrete mix design, strictly controlling the construction process, and implementing effective temperature monitoring and curing measures, the heat of hydration reaction of mass concrete can be effectively reduced, crack formation can be minimized, and the durability and safety of the engineering structure can be ensured. The research findings aim to provide a scientific and feasible technical solution for mass concrete construction and offer theoretical basis and practical guidance for its quality control.
